Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 Juan Tello

Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 Juan Tello is a racket with a very clear attack-first identity, but it does more than just wait for a smash. I feel a crisp response, strong stability, and enough control to keep the point organized when I’m not rushing the finish.

The diamond shape and the Medium feel put it in that familiar Vertex lane: demanding, direct, and happiest when I swing with intent. It’s not a lazy racket. It asks for clean mechanics, but it gives back a lot if you bring them.

Technical analysis

Shape & balance

The diamond mold pushes the balance upward, and that shows on court right away. I get easy access to power overhead, but also a racket that wants to be swung properly. It does not feel wild or uncontrollable, though. Bullpadel has kept the handling more usable than older, stiffer Vertex versions.

What I like most is that the extra punch does not come at the cost of total chaos in defense. It still feels like a serious attacking racket, but one that I can actually move fast enough in tight exchanges.

Materials & construction

The Xtend Carbon 12K faces give the racket a firm, clean response with plenty of feedback. There’s no mushiness here. The Carbon frame adds stability, while the MultiEVA core keeps the impact from feeling brutally dry.

That construction explains why the racket feels lively without becoming erratic. It has good vibration handling for this category, but it still wants technique. Miss the center and the response drops off. That’s part of the deal.

On-court feel

Baseline play

From the back of the court, I can block, lob, and reset with good stability, but I need to stay active. The ball exit is not free-flowing enough to do the work for me. On slow defensive balls, I have to help the racket along. If I do that, it holds the line well and gives me a clean, predictable reply.

What I do not get is the kind of forgiveness that covers sloppy timing. This is a racket that rewards solid contact more than survival swings.

At the net

This is where the Vertex 05 2026 makes the most sense to me. Volleys come out firm and heavy, with enough bite to keep opponents from settling. I can press from the net without feeling like the racket is lagging behind my hand.

The response is especially good in fast exchanges. It feels stable when I’m blocking pace and direct when I want to step in and take space. Not the easiest racket in the category, but a very serious one.

Bandeja and víbora

These shots suit it well. The grippy surface helps the ball sit a little longer on the faces, so I can work spin without forcing the motion. The víbora has that sharp, biting finish I want from an offensive racket, and the bandeja stays controlled enough to keep the net under pressure.

It is not a soft-feeling, effortless touch racket. The benefit is that once I commit, the shot comes out with real intent and a nice amount of feedback.

Smash

This is the clearest strength. On the smash, the racket loads up well and gives me a very direct transfer of energy. Flat finishing shots feel explosive, and when I hit clean, the ball really jumps off the face.

It is still technique-dependent. I would not call it the easiest powerhouse for players who want free access to big overheads, but in good hands it has serious punch.

Conclusion

I see this as a racket for advanced players, or intermediates with solid mechanics, who want an aggressive frame with more control than many diamons-shaped options. It suits players who attack the net often and like to finish with overheads instead of just surviving points.

What you trade off is forgiveness. This racket is firmer than some rivals and less generous when contact gets messy. If your timing is off, it reminds you quickly. If your game is clean, it gives you a lot back.

What other reviewers say

  1. Padel Passionfr

The Vertex 05 2026 stands out for very explosive power on overhead shots and a crisp but pleasant feel, with lots of feedback at impact. The review also says it is very effective on viboras, bandejas and spin-heavy shots thanks to its very grippy surface.

  2. Padel Connectfr

The review presents it as a racket that finally balances power and control without becoming soft: it improves maneuverability and vibration handling versus the Vertex 04, but still demands technique. Its downside is that it is less forgiving and feels firmer than the previous version.

  3. PadelCriticen

The Vertex 05 is presented as a clearly attack-oriented racket, with high balance and a direct response that suits explosive smashes, viboras and fast net play. It is less forgiving outside the sweet spot, but in capable hands it offers a lot of stability and punch.

  4. PadelReviewes

The racket behaves with good stability from the back of the court and lets you block fast balls or lift lobs without feeling overly demanding. At the net it keeps a firm feel and good ball output, although it is not seen as the most powerful option for aggressive smashes.

This racket is incredible. For an intermediate player, it offers exceptional control. While not as powerful as I expected (requiring good technique for smashes), it feels incredible, boasts a huge sweet spot, and is forgiving on off-center hits. Overall, I rate it a 9.8 – the best racket I've ever played, even after trying most of the Adidas and Nox rackets.

+ Great power+ Easy to smash+ Durable- I didn’t like it’s maneuvering in outdoor courts and the control isn’t the best for intermediates requires really good technique and positioning to stay consistent
