Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025
A comfort-minded diamond that carries the ball easily from the baseline, but asks for committed timing as the point speeds up.

What we like
- Easy baseline depth and exit
- Forgiving usable diamond sweet spot
- Stable accelerated bandeja response
What we don't
- Head-heavy on rushed defensive blocks
- Imprecise touch on delicate volleys
- Smash lacks immediate explosive finish

Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2025 is a diamond racket that softens the usual Vertex-style attacking profile with easier ball exit and a more forgiving response. It still carries enough head weight to reward aggressive swings, but it is less demanding on contact than a hard, dry power racket.
I found its character most convincing from the baseline: stable, comfortable, and willing to send the ball deep without asking for a full swing every time.
That comfort does not make it a quick, light-handed racket. In fast defensive exchanges, the head can feel slow to bring into position.
Technical analysis
Shape & balance
The diamond shape and high balance put mass toward the upper part of the racket. That helps it move through the ball on overheads and attacking volleys, particularly when I can prepare early and accelerate properly.
There is a trade-off. The racket does not flick around easily in rushed situations. On quick blocks, body shots at the net, or defensive reactions after a hard bajada, I would rather have a more head-light setup. Players with compact technique may also feel that the head asks for more work than expected from a comfort-oriented model.
Materials & construction
Bullpadel uses a CarbonTube 100% carbon fiber frame with a MultiEva core. In play, that construction lands in a comfortable feel rather than a sharp, rigid one. The response has accessible ball exit, especially on slower defensive balls where a firmer racket can leave you having to force the stroke.
The frame gives the racket enough stability that it does not feel loose at impact. Its sweet spot is also more usable than the diamond outline suggests. Still, the faces are not specified as a premium carbon layup, and I would not expect the same crisp volley touch or direct feedback I get from a harder carbon-faced racket.
On-court feel
Baseline play
From the back of the court, this is where the Vertex 04 Comfort makes most sense. It helps me find depth on off-the-wall balls and defensive lobs without needing to overhit. The ball leaves the face easily, and the response stays predictable when I am defending under pressure.
That said, the high balance remains present. When I am late to a low ball or need to react with a short block, the racket can feel a fraction cumbersome. It is comfortable at the baseline because of the core response, not because it is especially maneuverable.
At the net
On volleys, I get a solid, penetrating ball if I meet it in front and carry the stroke through. The racket has enough stability to hold its line against pace, and the sweet spot gives some margin on contacts that are not perfectly centered.
Fine touch is less convincing. Short angled volleys, soft drop shots, and delicate chiquitas do not have the most precise or connected feel. Some players will enjoy the extra exit; others will find that it makes feathered shots harder to judge.
Bandeja and víbora
The head weight works in its favor here. A committed bandeja comes through with good depth, while the racket gives enough assistance to keep the ball moving without turning every overhead into a full-power swing. On the víbora, it responds well when I accelerate late and use the upper part of the face.
It is not an automatic smash machine. There is punch when I load the stroke, but players chasing a very hard, immediate finish may want a firmer, more explosive racket.
Conclusion
I would point the Vertex 04 Comfort toward intermediate and advanced players who want a diamond racket with easier output and dependable baseline depth. It suits someone who attacks with intention but does not want a harsh response on defensive contacts.
The trade-off is clear: it gives comfort and a generous response, but not the quickest handling or the cleanest touch at the net. If your game relies on rapid blocks and delicate volley placement, the head-heavy feel may become frustrating.
What other reviewers say
- Racketguide.comen
Player feedback describes a comfortable, medium-soft racket that helps from the back of the court, but its attacking response divides opinion: some miss power or volley touch, while others find the head weighty.
- TuMejorPalaes
This review rates it as a diamond racket with strong ball output and punch when accelerated, plus stable baseline performance and a useful sweet spot. In return, its high balance and weight demand sound technique and make it less nimble in rushed defensive situations.
